KATHMANDU, JUL 12 - CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepali people would get the new constitution within the first week of August by garnering maximum support of the Constituent Assembly (CA) parties. 
In a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae on Monday, UML leader, who is also a parliamentary party leader of the party, said promulgation of the new constitution would not be obstructed just because of objection from a section of political parties.
“The 16-point agreement has paved way for promulgating the new constitution. We are making our long-cherished dream a success and it will not be obstructed under any pretexts this time," said Oli's aide Ramesh Acharya, quoting him as saying at the meeting.
 Envoy Rae had met UML Chief at the UML Parliamentary Party's Office two days before his India visit and enquired about progress made in the constitution writing process and the latest political developments emerged after signing the 16-point agreement among major political parties.
