Dassanayake was hired for a one-year contract by the government last year after CAN ran into financial crisis. But with less than one month remaining in Dassanayake’s stay, uncertainty still hangs overs his stay.</div> <div style="background: rgb(255, 255, 255); border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #272727; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 1.3em; line-height: 1.8em; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-right: 41px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;"> “Asian Cricket Council will stop providing us grant from this December and we can keep him until that time. But we want to discuss over the issue with the government first. If the government is ready to give an extension, we can keep him for long,” said CAN Acting President Deepak Koirala on Saturday. The AGM also concluded without deciding on the working tenure for Chief Executive Officer and Finance Administrator. While CEO Bhawana Ghimire was given a three-month extension, Finance Manager Prakash Maharjan had  already resigned soon after his contract expired two months ago.</div> <div style="background: rgb(255, 255, 255); border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #272727; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 1.3em; line-height: 1.8em; margin-bottom: 15px; margin-right: 41px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;"> “The CEO still has one month left at the office. We are thinking of giving her continuity. We will probably address about the issue in another meeting,” he said.</div> </div>
