KATHMANDU, JUN 21 - Political leaders, artists, comedians and students reached Indian embassy in Kathmandu and perform yoga on the International Yoga Day on Sunday.
Vice President Paramananda Jha, comedians Madan Krishna Shrestha, Hari Bansha Acharya, actress Manisha Koirala, former NRN Chairman Upendra Mahato, among other participants, performed yoga at the embassy. The event was organised by the Indian embassy to mark the first International Yoga Day.
The event was inaugurated by Vice President Jha.
June 21 was declared as the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations on December 11, 2014.
